A Journey of Excellence Begins

More than 130 years ago a journey of excellence began, pioneered by our founding father, Andrés Brugal. He travelled from Spain to the Dominican Republic with the dream of creating the world’s finest rum, founding Brugal in 1888. This release pays homage to his spirit of exploration and desire to always bring out the very best of our rum.

Five Generations of Travel

Inspired by our founder Andrés Brugal, five generations of Maestros Roneros travelled the globe to share the passion and joy of Brugal’s liquid artistry with world. As their rums were their greatest treasure, the Maestros conceived a way to safely transport their precious liquid and proudly display it upon arrival. This release pays homage to an iconic suitcase our Maestros has specially designed to take on their voyages

Fifth generation Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva has carefully crafted a rum of astounding Dominican character. Inspired by generations of Maestros who travelled to share the best of our Dominican Rum with the world she created a rum that showcases the best of Dominican flavours. Inspired by the flavors shared at Brugal family celebrations, her vast knowledge of the casks around her is revealed in the incredible array of local flavors unlocked in this rare bottling.
