The Inspiration
Behind the Vision

Deeply inspired by the Dominican Republic’s rich tradition of coffee culture, Jassil Villanueva Quintana sought to create a rum that embodies the cherished ‘cafecito’ moment – a ritual celebrated in the Dominican Republic where friends & family come together to pause and savor life’s moments.

Nose

The journey begins with exceptionally smooth rich notes of caramel and freshly brewed coffee, perfectly balanced with layers of dark chocolate and sweet vanilla.

Taste

Begin with a gentle burst of spices - cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg - adding a refined complexity to the palate. Delicate hints of raisins weave seamlessly into a deep coffee flavour, enriching each sip.

Finish

Finally savour a medium-length finish that is both complex and smooth, leaving a lasting impression of balanced flavours and a lingering smoke that evolves gently.

Step 1

Selecting the best Dominican Coffee

Our rums are 100% Dominican, and this collection is no exception. For Edición 02, we hand-selected another one of the island’s treasures, that is so cherished, only 20% of it is ever exported: Dominican coffee.

Step 2

Cask Toasting with Dominican Coffee

For Edición 02, we continue to innovate through our Aromatic Cask Toasting Technique - where our cask masters toast the casks with Dominican coffee beans, which are then removed, infusing the wood with their rich aromatic properties. The casks are then prepared to be filled with our exceptional liquid.

Step 3

Aging a Rich and Elegant Rum

Colección Visionaria Edición 02 is aged in expertly selected Virgin European Oak casks to develop the rum’s signature rich and complex flavors. With every sip, you taste the culmination of years of expertise and the essence of our cherished homeland.
